Maybe I did not have my power supply set right and it is acting like a low battery. The LCD may be bad. Case but broken at hinges offered in this offer. I tapped a couple of leads to the battery wires and applied 5. The unit powered up and seemed to work, buttons work. I don't know if there is a contrast procedure or not.

The print is very faded on screen. Snap-on Sun ls2000 automotive oscilloscope diagnostic service scanner. Used working condition. Thru LCD back light works.

The battery is installed but it dead. Signs of wear, age with scratches and blemishes.
