This item is in working condition but I noticed it does have a couple issues. It may also work fine in a car USB adapter but I haven't tried. It will work with an external battery that most people use to charge phone. I plugged it in to a portable battery and worked fine when used that way.

I haven't tried another cable as the one included is only have. It originally came with more parts but this is all I have. You are buying on a pre owned Bartec tech 400 sd tamps scan tool. It comes with the USB cable and one vehicle as shown in pictures.

All the buttons were working and everything seems fine. The unit will power on when plugged into a wall charger but it wouldn't let me scroll through anything or work at all.

The battery is not holding a charge at all and will work unless its connected to power source.
