This interface works only on cars based mark 5 golf Technology. I no longer own the Etta. A license for vcds is embedded in this interface, so will always run on any PC that meets Ross-Tech standards, which on-line at. Check the Ross-Tech list.

Fanfare vcds software must be downloaded from Ross-Tech. But it has a bunch of other diagnostic and customization uses. I used this on my 2011 Etta diesel spadework when doing fuel-filter changes it was the only way to safely cycle fuel pump afterwards.
